Tipe ini merujuk pada peristiwa di masa depan. Fakta dari pernyataan ini masib berupa kemungkinan yang bisa terjadi dan bisa juga tidak.

Catatan:
Dalam CS 1 , keterangan waktu future bisa dipakai untuk menerangkan bentuk present karena bentuk present tersebut sebenarnya merujuk pada masa depan (future)
Cth: if he is here tomorrow, he will help me finish my work
(jika dia disini besok, dia akan membantuku menyelesaikan pekerjaanku.)

IF+Simple past tense, past future tense
Kalimat ini bertentangan dengan faktanya, faktanya dalam bentuk present tense

You don’t see my brother because you don’t come (present)
Modal Could,Might, dan should dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan modal would pada main
Cth: if I had money, I could buy the necklace

To be past yang dipakai dalam conditional sentence tipe 2 adala were walaupun subjeck kalimat tunggal(he,she,it)
